Cloud Migrations
At Netmech we understand that not all cloud providers are equal, and that some are more suitable than others depending on your requirements. We have experience in comparisons and evaluations of most of the major providers. We like to understand what your cloud usage should look like taking into account factors such as cost, bandwidth, uptime, existing arrangements, ease of use,compatibility and security to name a few. After deciding what cloud usage you require we can help at several stages in the migration process from Project Management of of a third party or taking on the delivery of the new working model.
Backups: local & cloud
Firstly, we find it important to understand what backups are and for what purpose they are used. We can evaluate your existing strategy with a review of the entire disaster recovery process. Backups can be done easily but how often to you test the restore process? This isn’t something that should be brought out and dusted off ‘during or after’ the emergency. How well are your staff conversed in this process? What if your key backup person is away at the critical time? We can not only ensure the process is flawless, but can also prepare the documents for ourselves or nominated party to help in the recovery process, ensuring your business continuity comes first and foremost.
Backing up data in house can raise its own issues. Do you have secure offsite storage or another level of backup in the cloud? We can assess and make recommendations of cloud or hybrid models depending on your needs.

Who we are
Established in 1996 and incorporated in 2002, Netmech has been active in the Telco and I.T. space creating technical solutions for some of the industries major companies. We now focus on small to medium sized companies in and around Sydney who are looking to re-assess their ICT infrastructure with a view to possible savings by adopting the latest cloud technology.
